Leads
Discovering and organizing buyers who are already showing intent.
What Are Leads?
A lead is a person who matches your ideal customer profile and can be reached through LinkedIn. NetworkHQ focuses on warm leads: buyers who have also shown a meaningful signal that they may care about the problem your product solves.
Each warm lead arrives with the signal that surfaced them, why they match your ICP, and relevant profile and company context. This gives you a reason to reach out now, not just another name in a database. Personalized message drafts are prepared after the lead is enrolled in an AI-personalized campaign.
Lead Gen Agents
A Lead Gen Agent continuously finds warm leads for one product and audience. It starts with your website and product information, then learns what you sell, the problems you solve, and the characteristics of a strong customer.
When you create an agent, define your ICP using criteria such as role, industry, company size, location, and relevant keywords. Then choose the signals the agent should watch and the lead list where qualified matches should be delivered.
Once active, the agent keeps monitoring, researching, and scoring new matches. Use its activity and analytics views to see which signals are producing leads and how those leads move into outreach.
Buying Signals
Lead Gen Agents monitor the following implemented LinkedIn and recency signals:
Your LinkedIn audience
Profile and company-page visitors, company followers, and engagement with your own profile or company posts.
Tracked post engagement
People engaging with posts from configured LinkedIn profiles and company pages, including competitors and industry voices.
Keyword post engagement
People engaging with LinkedIn posts discovered through your configured keyword searches.
Recent job changes
ICP-fit people whose LinkedIn work history shows a recent role change.
Recent funding
ICP-fit companies with a recent funding event.
Recent LinkedIn posting
ICP-fit people who have posted on LinkedIn within the configured recency window.
How scoring works: A single signal can be noise. NetworkHQ combines intent signals with ICP fit and prospect research, then prioritizes the leads where the strongest evidence converges.
Lead Lists
Leads are organized into lists. A list is a group of leads that can be connected to a Lead Gen Agent or campaign. For example, you might create a list called “High-intent marketing leaders” or “Competitor-engaged prospects.”
Choose a destination list when you activate an agent. Every qualified lead it finds is delivered to that list with its source and context, ready for review or outreach. You can create additional lists for different products, ICPs, signals, or campaigns.
If you accidentally add the same person twice to a list, the platform will automatically skip the duplicate. It identifies duplicates by their LinkedIn profile link.
Lead Information
A lead record can include:
- First name
- Last name
- Company — Where they work
- Job title — Their role at the company
- LinkedIn URL — Their LinkedIn profile link — the only required field
- Phone
- Location — City, state, or country
- Buying signal — The activity or event that surfaced the lead
- Signal source — Where NetworkHQ found the activity
- ICP match — Why the person and company fit your criteria
- Research and activity — Context gathered before outreach
NetworkHQ enriches agent-surfaced leads automatically. For manually added leads, a LinkedIn URL is the only required field, while additional details give the agent more context for research and personalization.
Adding Leads
There are three ways to add leads to a list:
Lead Gen Agent
Select the list as an agent's destination. The agent monitors your chosen signals and automatically adds new ICP-fit leads with their research and context. This is the default way to build a warm pipeline without manual prospecting.
One at a time
Open a lead list and click the add button. Fill in the person's details and save. This is best when you want to add a few specific people.
Bulk import
Upload a CSV or spreadsheet file with multiple leads at once. The platform will match your columns to the right fields automatically. Use this when you already have a list you want NetworkHQ to research, personalize, and contact.
Managing Leads
Once your leads are in a list, you can:
- Search for leads by name, company, job title, or location
- Review the signal, source, ICP match, and activity that surfaced a lead
- Review signal and ICP context before enrollment, then open message drafts after a campaign prepares the lead
- Edit a lead's details
- Delete leads you no longer need
- Select multiple leads at once for bulk actions
- Track the campaigns and conversations associated with each lead
